Haven’t earned a single cent on Medium yet and that’s OK
Yes, I haven’t earned a single dollar yet neither have gained major traction. Not a single member seems to have read my articles yet, according to my stats. I don’t even have the requisite 100 followers I would need by end December 2021.
However, I am thrilled to be here. It is not my Polyanna outlook towards life (I am not a serial positive thinker) but it is simply that I have an outlet for my love of writing. The biggest win of all? I am writing, finally, for the pure joy of writing and also sharing my life, what I know, random thoughts … and it feels amazing.
Writing has been my bread and butter throughout my adult life and now, it is my mental health savior as well -which actually matters more right now.
Will my lack of “success” discourage me? I doubt it. I like it here, even though I am largely unknown compared to my previous life. I will keep on writing, whenever I can, and hopefully, one day, one of my articles will go viral. Wish me luck!
